There are a total of 10 buttons on the Bose QuietComfort 35 II headphones. 5 of these are on the left ear cup, and the other 5 are on the right ear cup. The 5 buttons on the left ear cup are the power button, the Bluetooth button, the noise-canceling button, the volume up button, and the volume down button. The 5 buttons on the right ear cup are the play/pause button, the skip forward button, the skip backward button, the call button, and the multi-function button.
The power button is used to turn the headphones on and off. The Bluetooth button is used to pair the headphones with a Bluetooth-enabled device. The noise-canceling button is used to turn the noise-canceling feature on and off. The volume up button is used to increase the volume. The volume down button is used to decrease the volume. The play/pause button is used to play and pause music. The skip forward button is used to skip to the next song. The skip backward button is used to skip to the previous song. The call button is used to answer and end phone calls. The multi-function button is used to access voice assistants, such as Siri.
Power On
Slide the Power/Bluetooth switch to the right.
A voice prompt announces the battery level and the battery indicator glows according
to the current charge level.
Standby Timer
The standby timer conserves the battery when the headphones are not being used.
To set up and customize the standby timer, use the Bose® Connect app.
Power Off
Slide the Power/Bluetooth switch to the left.
Note: When the headphones are powered off, noise cancellation is disabled.
Media and Playback Functions
The headphone controls are located on the back of the right earcup.
Call Functions
The Multi-function button and microphone are located on the back of the right earcup.
Action Button Functions
The Action button is a programmable button that allows you to quickly and easily access Amazon Alexa, your Google Assistant, or noise cancellation. The Action button is located on the back of the left earcup.
