QUICK START GUIDE
- When received the lock, use your fingerprint to activate and open it. Note: At this point, any fingerprint can be used to unlock.
- Insert the reset pin into the reset hole and hold for 2 seconds, the green LED will be always on, then loose the reset pin and the lock is already for fingerprint entry mode. Every time you enter a fingerprint, the green LED flashes once. To record more fingerprints, pleaserepeat the above operations.
Note: It is recommended to cover the whole fingerprint area with your finger when registering. As shown below:
- Download and open the Koogeek Home app from the App Store.
- Log in or sign up for a Koogeek account or simply tap Skip.
- Open the Bluetooth on your phone.
- Tap “+” on the top right corner and follow the on‐screen directions to complete the scan or manually enter into the setup code.
- Click the “Koogeek‐L3‐XXXXXX” in the accessory list and pair. XXXXXX are the last 6 characters of MAC on your Smart Fingerprint Lock.
Note: Each accessory has an identification code, e.g., Koogeek‐L3‐XXXXXX. Make sure the last 6 characters of the identification code are consistent with the last 6 characters of MAC sticker in the packing box. You can find the MAC sticker in the packing box. To add more smart fingerprint locks (or repeat the Smart Fingerprint lock setup process), please repeat the above operations.
- You can add the device to the Home and Room. Please keep the setup code for future use.
- Youcan assign a name to your Smart Fingerprint Lock and use this name when speaking to Siri. For example, you can name your Smart Fingerprint Lock “Bedroom door lock”, then launch Siri and speak “Open the bedroom door lock.”

The use of a HomeKit‐enabled accessory need the follow permission:
Settings >iCloud > iCloud Drive > Turn On Settings > iCloud > Keychain > Turn on
Settings > Privacy >HomeKit > Koogeek Home > Turn On
Note: The keychain function is defined by Apple Company, and only activate keychain, can HomeKit accessory be connected to your phone.

Restore Factory Settings
Insert the metal pin into the reset hole and hold for 5 seconds, the green LED will flash slowly, and then loose the pin, the LED flashes 3 timesslowly to indicate that the product has been restored to factory settings.
Note: Please execute the operation only when the lock is open.
Delete Fingerprint Information
Insert the metal pin into the reset hole and hold for 8 seconds, the green LED will flash quickly, and then loose the pin, the LED will be on for 1 second, then goes out to indicate thatthe fingerprint information has been deleted.

Tips:
- When the lock was locked or opened successfully, the green LED will flash once to indicate that the operation has been done.
- Up to 50 fingerprints can be stored in one lock.
- Run for up to 1 year after being charged for 2 hours.
- Support checkingbattery level on the Koogeek Home App or Apple Home app.
- With a Micro‐USB charging port.
- Two options to open the lock: 1) Fingerprint, 2) Koogeek Home app or Apple Home app.
- You can remotely check whether the lock was locked or not whereveryou are.
- Support checking the last 100 lock / unlock records.
- The standby time of the product is 1 year.
- Please charge the product before the first use.
- Input wrong fingerprints 6 times in a row, the product will lock up. Please wait for 60 seconds, then use the right fingerprint to unlock.
